What Are Skin Boosters?
Skin boosters are injectable treatments designed to improve the quality of the skin itself — hydration, firmness, elasticity, texture and radiance — rather than to add volume or change shape. They are often the right answer when someone’s concern is “my skin looks tired, dull or crepey”, rather than “I’ve lost volume”.
There is no single best skin booster. Each works slightly differently, so we choose according to your skin, the area being treated and your goals.
The Skin Boosters We Offer
Profhilo A high-concentration hyaluronic acid that spreads beneath the skin to improve hydration and laxity across the face, neck or décolletage. Typically two sessions, four weeks apart. See our Profhilo page for full details.
Polynucleotides Purified DNA fragments, derived from fish, that are thought to support the skin’s own repair processes. Particularly popular for crepey skin and the under-eye area. Typically three sessions, two to three weeks apart. See our Polynucleotides page for full details.
Sunekos A combination of hyaluronic acid and a specific blend of amino acids — the building blocks the skin uses to make collagen and elastin. Often used for fine lines, crepey skin and the under-eye area, as well as the face and neck. Typically a course of four sessions, around one week apart.
NCTF 135 HA A non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid combined with more than fifty vitamins, amino acids, minerals, coenzymes and antioxidants. Focused on hydration and radiance for dull or tired-looking skin, including the under-eyes, neck and hands. Typically three to five sessions, two to four weeks apart.
Belotero Revive A hyaluronic acid and glycerol formulation focused on hydration and early fine lines. Typically two to three sessions, around four weeks apart.
Teosyal Redensity 1 Hyaluronic acid combined with amino acids, antioxidants and minerals, aimed at radiance and fine surface lines. Typically three sessions, around three weeks apart.
Radiesse and Sculptra Collagen-stimulating injectables (biostimulators) that work more deeply than skin boosters, gradually improving firmness and support. See our Radiesse and Sculptra pages for full details.
Is It Right for You?
Skin boosters tend to suit people noticing dullness, dehydration, early laxity or fine crepey lines — on the face, neck, décolletage, under-eyes or hands. They work gradually and subtly, so they are not a substitute for filler where volume has genuinely been lost.
Part of the consultation is working out which booster — if any — is the best fit, and whether your daily skincare is supporting or undermining the result.
