What Is Tear Trough Filler?
Tear trough filler treats the tear trough — the groove that runs from the inner corner of the eye towards the cheek. When it deepens — through genetics or age-related volume loss — it can cast a shadow that makes people look tired, even when they are well rested.
Tear trough filler uses a soft hyaluronic acid gel, placed carefully beneath the under-eye area, to soften the hollow and reduce that shadow.
Is It Right for You?
This is one of the areas where honest assessment matters most. Tear trough filler can work well for hollowing, but it is not right for everyone. Dark circles caused by pigmentation or visible blood vessels, significant puffiness or eye bags, and very thin or lax skin may not improve with filler — and filler can sometimes make puffiness worse.
If filler isn’t the right answer for you, we may suggest alternatives such as polynucleotides or a skin-quality approach.
